Scavenger Hunt Sunday

LOVED this week of Scavenger Hunt items over with Ashley Sisk at 'Ramblings & Photos'- stop over there and check out some amazing photographs!

i went to Mt. St. Mary's and an apple orchard across the Maryland line Saturday morning and was able to get all my hunt photos, had a hard time choosing which ones to use. so without further words...

1) Words...

2) Under...

3) Orange...
(played with layers here a bit)

4) Fly...

5) Always look on the bright side...

i was so blessed to have spent the day with 2 amazing women in a place that made you feel like God was sitting on the bench right next to you. full of peace and quiet stillness. having the moment to pray and just 'be still'. and so blessed that i was able to capture some beautiful shots and memories!

blessings!

  1. First off, love the name of your blog. Also that song always reminds me of Sister Act two...the girl in that sang it so beautifully.
My faves are Under and Bright Side...you captured them uniquely and beautifully.

  2. I can't choose just one photo. Your set speaks volumes! Each and every one is perfect to the prompt, and the photography is so lovely to look at. Nice work!

  3. These are all brilliant!!! I'm not even sure I have ONE favorite. I do adore the light you captured in your "look on the bright side" photo. And the reflections in your "orange" capture are so interesting! Great job!

  8. Shay...I can't figure out how to send you an email so I'll just post a reply to your post on my blog here. I live in Ambler which is a suburb of Philly. BUT, many of my photos are taken in Lancaster County because my parents live in Elizabethtown and I go up there weekly to give my mom a break and care for my dad so she can get out to her sewing group. I lived in Berks County (Sinking Spring) for 25 years until moving closer to Philly last year.
